Update!!

finally its time for a update on the daily.

The wheels are already a few weeks mounted.

I also did some tirebombing on the fresh falken rubber :)

(also put on some smokey blinkers)

Andd, i finally got my genuine Bride seat in the car! This time on a new frame.

Perfect size! Love it!

 

New lathe!

I finally have my new lathe. I used to have one, but that one fell and i wasnt able to repair it.

But here is my new one! Really excited about this one.

Its a Colchester Student 6".

It's pretty famous brand in the lathe world.

Its a real simpel machine, but can do everything i want to do with it.

Also have lots of extra stuff with it like a 4jaw chuck, collet chuck, steady rest etc.

Now i can finally make my own custom parts at home as far as it will work with a lathe.

Little update again!

Still collecting parts for the sr20 micra.

But also welded some AN bungs on the Mishimoto radiator.

Why? Well, since the bend the silicone hose would make is way to tight.

So i thought, why not weld some bungs on and use fittings with flexible hose.

So i hope that will make it happen.

 





I also have made up the colour for the Speedline Maracana wheels for the daily.
It's a custom gold colour. hope it will look good on the wheels!

Also the tires have been bought for the Speedlines. Again Falken ZE914.
I also had those on the Artec L and i really liked them. Lots of grip in both wet and dry conditions.
Perfect!

And then, Had some fun in the daily. Problem was, brakes couldn't hold up haha!
I think i'm going to invest in some 1.6 GTI brakes from a Almera GTI or Sunny GTI or so.

Update time!!

finally something to say again.

again on the daily. 

Got new front seats, steering wheel, tower brace and audio.

Front seats are from a Nissan Almera SR (same interior as GTI)

And the steering wheel is a genuine Royal Grip suede wheel. Feels super fine!

Then audio. 

This is the first time I have some sirious audio in a car.

It never really bothered me, but since this daily is getting better, i thought; well, why not.

So i bought 2 sets of speakers and a AMP.

Speakers in rear are Blam Relax 165RC, and in front Blam Relax 165RX with filter.

Speakers are all 2 ohm, so pretty good for the money.

AMP is a Alpine MRP-F300 4channel.

And this is the front strut brace.

nothing special, but worth mentioning. Its a OMP brand.

 

Dmpd 15'

Had an awsome day at Dmpd 2015.

A lot of great looking cars there!

 

Wheels fitted!

Finally got them wheels fitted!

Needs some minor adjustments on the fitment.

But overall i think it looks pretty clean :)

 

Paintjob!

 

Since Dmpd '15 is coming closer, i really wanted to make the car look as good as it can be.

So we did a almost full respray.

With that, i chose to go clean.

So we did.

 

 

 

 

When that was done, we started to polish it up to make it look even better.

I also added JDM grilles and a simple front lip

 

 

It's still far from finished, but we will get there!

Sunny is gone. Had to much work to make it a nice car.

Now i got a Nissan Micra! Number 2.

It is a Micra SE 1.3i

It's the most luxurious type micra.

And i have also bought wheels for it.

Artec L 16" 8J et56.

2 piece split rims

Got 2cm spacers with it, so et becomes et36.

They need some work on the lips, but nothing really bad.

Time for some update's!

It's finally time for a few updates! 

Been working alot on the car lately.

I also bought myself a new daily, well 'new'...

It's a Nissan Sunny N14 with GA16DS with 230k on the clock.

It has a GTI front bumper with foglights and GTI spoiler.

Nothing special about the rest, just a fun car to drive.

Then the micra.
I've put a new frontbeam in since the original one was rotting.

Then the cooling.
It's a Mishimoto 50mm thick full aluminium radiator of a Nissan Pulsar GTI-R
It has a Huge cooling capacity, just what i need.

 And for the oil cooler i bought an Mocal and made it fit in front of the radiator for maximum cooling.

Next up, which i'm very proud of.
A ARC front tower bar.
Super rare, they only made 4 of these for prototype and I got one of them :D

Next, the brake setup.
I first bought a set 4 pot iron front calipers of a S14.
But they need 30mm thick rotors, which are hard to find for my setup.

Now i bought a set of 4 pot aluminum front calipers of a Z32 300ZX non-turbo.
Those need only 26mm rotors, easier to find, and overall setup is way lighter then the iron setup.
Only need to find a pair of rear 2 pot from a s14 or z32.

And now the swap itself.
It finally sits on all 4 engine mounts.
The mounts are filled with shore 60A PU, now they are way stiffer.
very proud of the result.
It sits on 0.1 degrees straight in the chassis.
