Paintjob!

 

Since Dmpd '15 is coming closer, i really wanted to make the car look as good as it can be.

So we did a almost full respray.

With that, i chose to go clean.

So we did.

 

 

 

 

When that was done, we started to polish it up to make it look even better.

I also added JDM grilles and a simple front lip

 

 

It's still far from finished, but we will get there!

Sunny is gone. Had to much work to make it a nice car.

Now i got a Nissan Micra! Number 2.

It is a Micra SE 1.3i

It's the most luxurious type micra.

Double airbag

Power windows

Airco

Leather steering wheel

Headrests on the rear seats

 

I already did a few things to it.

Lowered it

Cleaned trunk

Tomei shiftknob

JDM cupholder

Blacked headlights

JDM rear lights

And i have also bought wheels for it.

Artec L 16" 8J et56.

2 piece split rims

Got 2cm spacers with it, so et becomes et36.

They need some work on the lips, but nothing really bad.

Time for some update's!

It's finally time for a few updates! 

Been working alot on the car lately.

I also bought myself a new daily, well 'new'...

It's a Nissan Sunny N14 with GA16DS with 230k on the clock.

It has a GTI front bumper with foglights and GTI spoiler.

Nothing special about the rest, just a fun car to drive.

Then the micra.
I've put a new frontbeam in since the original one was rotting.

Then the cooling.
It's a Mishimoto 50mm thick full aluminium radiator of a Nissan Pulsar GTI-R
It has a Huge cooling capacity, just what i need.

 And for the oil cooler i bought an Mocal and made it fit in front of the radiator for maximum cooling.

Next up, which i'm very proud of.
A ARC front tower bar.
Super rare, they only made 4 of these for prototype and I got one of them :D

Next, the brake setup.
I first bought a set 4 pot iron front calipers of a S14.
But they need 30mm thick rotors, which are hard to find for my setup.

Now i bought a set of 4 pot aluminum front calipers of a Z32 300ZX non-turbo.
Those need only 26mm rotors, easier to find, and overall setup is way lighter then the iron setup.
Only need to find a pair of rear 2 pot from a s14 or z32.

And now the swap itself.
It finally sits on all 4 engine mounts.
The mounts are filled with shore 60A PU, now they are way stiffer.
very proud of the result.
It sits on 0.1 degrees straight in the chassis.

Wheels!

Got new wheels!

I sold the BBS RM025 and bought myself 2 other sets of wheels.

First pair is this compomotive FH500 2piece split rims

These are going to be 3 piece with Radinox outer lips.

Originally they are 6J, but these are going to be 7.5J wide, just like my BBS.

This will be my "show" pair.

 Already got them bead blasted

Here just a quick fit @ Stroeve motorsport

Then my second set.

This will be my circuit set which will get some semi-slicks or full slicks.

Enkei Tarmac WRC 7J et49 15"

These will be chemical depainted @ Stroeve Motorsport and painted white again with genuine enkei new stickers!

Here i am again!
lot of things done now.
Engine is completely rebuild with new main bearings and big-end bearings.
freshly painted and stuff

I also got a lot of new parts from japan.
-JDM spoiler with brakelight
-Grilles
-tomei shiftknob
-Nismo strut brace
-Nismo panhard
-Nismo front and rear stabilisator (new)  

For the swap i already have a few small things like Tomei fpr, Walbro fuel pump, brake cilinder almera GTI

And for braking i also have a few parts now.
German rear axle with disc, which gets S14 silvia brakes
and for the front i already have S14 4 pot calipers

Also going to make custom adjustable latheral arms.

Now the car itself
i'm planning on making it a circuit car but still barely legal for the roads.
Because of that i'm going to make the car light as possible, which means some things have to come out.
One thing that is going to come out is the heater. Since i'm going use a 12v heater i dont need the original unit anymore.
I'm also going to use just 2 bucket seats, custom door panels and flocked dash.

(ohyeah, i also got a Royal Grip suede steering wheel )

Update!

 Few things happening right now.

Currently rebuilding the SR20 with new oem nissan main, rod and thrust bearings.

Engine is almost completed now. When it's done it gets a fresh paint job to finish it.

Nothing special, simple aluminium colour.

Also got new pair of JDM oem tail lights.

This time cabrio lights.

Before those i had these JDM oem tail lights

I also got a japanese Nissan March cup windshield sticker!

Did some work on the Primera GT engine today.

I finally got the engine out of the car!
